1What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. It lets the site recognise your browser on your next page view or next visit. We also use closely related technologies — local storage, session storage and pixel tags — and this policy covers those too.
Cookies are either session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them. Some are set by us (first-party) and some by services we use (third-party).
2Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site and the dealer tools to work. They handle dealer portal sign-in and session security, hold the state of a calculation in progress so a half-finished quotation is not lost when you change tab, balance server load, and protect forms against abuse. These cannot be switched off through our cookie banner, because the tools would stop functioning without them. You can still block them in your browser, but the calculators and the portal will break.
Functional
Remember choices you make — language, region, units, whether you have dismissed a notice, and display preferences in the product browser. Turning these off means the site forgets your settings between visits.
Performance and analytics
Tell us how the site is used in aggregate: which collections and motors get viewed, where people abandon a calculation, how quickly pages load, and which errors occur. We use this to fix problems and decide what to build next. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Marketing
Measure whether our campaigns reach the right audience and let us show relevant product advertising on other platforms. These are only set if you accept them.

Embedded content — a product video or an interactive map, for example — may set its own cookies once you load or play it. Those are controlled by the provider, not by us.
4Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we rely on. Each has its own privacy policy, which governs what they do with the data:

- Supabase (dealer portal authentication) — supabase.com/privacy

5What the smart motors do not use
This policy covers this website only. Installed A-OK motors do not use cookies, do not connect to this website, and send us nothing. They are controlled through the Tuya / Smart Life app, which is a separate product with its own privacy policy and its own tracking arrangements.
Nothing you accept or reject on this page has any effect on your blinds, and nothing your blinds do has any effect on what we see here. Section 8 of our Privacy Statement explains the boundary in full.
6Managing your choices
When you first visit, we ask which optional categories you accept. Strictly necessary cookies are always on; functional, performance and marketing cookies are off until you accept them.
You can change your mind at any time through Cookie Settings, which is also linked in the footer of every page. Changes take effect immediately, and cookies you withdraw consent for are cleared on your next page load.
7Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The relevant help pages are:
Blocking all cookies will stop the dealer portal and the calculators from working, since sign-in and calculation state both depend on them.
8Do Not Track
Browsers differ in how they implement “Do Not Track” and there is no agreed standard for responding to it, so this site does not respond to DNT signals. Use the cookie settings above instead — those we do honour.
9Changes
We update this policy when we add or remove a service that sets cookies. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
